FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides adaptability of earthquake-resistant construction support to mass and dimensions parametres of the construction and to specific conditions of the operating region, thus minimising horizontal loading of the construction. Earthquake-resistant construction support consists of a pillar having spherical edges which are installed in mating shells, the upper one of which is made with the possibility of being fixed on the supporting plate of the construction, and the lower one - on the foundation. The support differs by the fact that it is equipped with upper and lower pin plates, longitudinal damping pin members and longitudinal elastic plate members. The above longitudinal members are located about the pillar parallel to the axis of the latter, at that, their end parts are fixed on upper and lower pin plates correspondingly; shells are connected to pin plates accordingly and each of those is provided with a spherical foot interconnected with the corresponding spherical edge of the pillar; at that, each of longitudinal elastic plate members is made in the form of a pack of plates; at that, each of end parts of the pack of plates is fixed in the direction orthogonal to the plate pack plane, thus forming a hinge in the plate pack plane. At that, at least two packs of plates are located in mutually intersecting planes.
EFFECT: improving operating characteristics, increasing seismic resistance of the construction, thus minimising horizontal loading of the protected construction.
