FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to earthquake resistant construction and can be used for seismic protection of high-rise structures against the effect of kinematic action in the low frequency range. Device for compensation of seismic vibrations of high-rise structure includes support of upper part of structure, inserted into shell of foundation plate and equipped with concave recesses in its lower part, working body of compensator, made in form of ball rolling bodies resting on foundation plate, damping system. Concave recesses of support of upper part of structure are made cycloidal, and their number is symmetrical in both directions of horizontal movement of support. Working body of the compensator consists of ball rolling bodies assembled into a metal block and separated by a frame. Metal block is installed in the shell of foundation plate, the bottom of which is made of stainless steel.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability and safety of structure with considerable seismic loads, as well as in synchronization of movement of ball rolling bodies in unit and return of structure to initial position in minimum time.
