FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns construction, particularly devices of building and facility protection against seismic effect. Device of building protection against seismic effect includes struts, each strut with spherical ends mounted in reciprocal cups, where upper cup can be attached to protected building and lower cup can be attached to basement. Device features lengthwise damping rod elements and lengthwise lamellar spring elements. These lengthwise elements are positioned between protected building and basement parallel to the struts, and end parts of the elements can be jammed directly to the protected building and basement. Each lengthwise lamellar spring element is made in the form of plate pack, with each end part of plate packs jammed in direction perpendicular to the plate pack plane to form joint in the plate pack plane. Each cup features spherical sole interacting with reciprocal spherical end of respective strut.
EFFECT: improved operational properties, enhanced seismic stability of building, minimised horizontal submersion of protected building.
