FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to heat engineering and is meant for increasing spraying fineness of viscous liquid fuel with mechanical atomisers in power-generating boilers at low fuel supply pressure. Liquid fuel spraying method involves supply of liquid fuel to atomiser, its supply through swirler channels to swirl chamber, swirled fuel film produced with the spray system in swirl chamber, and forcing the fuel film out of swirl chamber. At that, there provided is smooth in-leakage of fuel flow to the swirl chamber wall through inlet holes of the swirler spiral channels, which are divergent outwards, and fuel flow rate in convergent spiral channels is increased. Liquid fuel spraying atomiser consists of a hollow cylindrical body and a swirler installed inside it and being a hollow rotation body with two edges, one of which is plugged, and the opposite one is provided with through tangential channels made in the form of a rectangle in section, and nozzles with swirl chamber. Side walls of the swirler channels are spiral, and depth of channels decreases lengthwise. Internal spiral wall comes close to the external one throughout the channel length.
EFFECT: invention allows improving fuel spraying quality.
