FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: spraying method of liquid fuel involves separate supply of liquid fuel and steam to atomiser, fuel supply through fuel swirler channels and creation of swirl fuel film in vortex chamber, steam supply via spiral through tangential channels of steam swirler and creation of steam vortex to the area of fuel film leaving vortex chamber, forcing of fuel film out of vortex chamber and crushing thereof with steam vortex. Steam flow is accelerated up to supersonic velocity in through spiral tangential channels of steam swirler, which have a convergent part, a neck and a divergent part, rotary steam movement is formed in the area whereto fuel film flows from vortex chamber, and it is crushed with steam vortex.
EFFECT: increasing fuel spraying finesses owing to increase of steam vortex rotary velocity and increase of intensity of its interacting with fuel film.
