FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed nozzle is designed for atomizing viscous fuels by superheated steam for combustion of fuel in boiler furnaces. Fuel is prepared by organized mixing of fuel flow with supersonic steam jets in axial and ring channels and by increasing the time of holding fuel in area of its interaction with high energy steam inside nozzle assembly in form of hollow detachable cap with ring nozzle channels on spherical end face. Invention provides organization of combustion of viscous fuels in boiler furnace at minimum air excess. Swirl injectors has cylindrical hollow housing with nozzle assembly, fuel swirler, steam swirler and steam atomizer installed inside housing and united into common part with axial perforated partition being hollow solid of revolution with channels to feed from ring clearance between parts and housing into inner space of injector. EFFECT: provision of high degree of fuel preparation in inner space of injector. 3 cl, 10 dwg
