SUBSTANCE: invention refers to geo-physical survey in wells, particularly to analysis and processing of data received from facility of acoustic logging. Method of evaluation of interval time of wave travel in drilling agent consists in evaluating interval time as function of frequency for waves in fluid on base of set of measurements received by means of facility for acoustic logging in borehole; method also consists in evaluation of interval time for drilling agent on base of interval time determined as frequency function for waves in fluid. System for evaluation of interval time for drilling agent consists of a processor and memory, also memory stores a program with commands for determination of interval time as frequency function for waves in fluid on base of the set of measurements received by means of the facility of acoustic logging in a borehole.

EFFECT: upgraded accuracy and information value of acoustic logging by means of selecting waves of various types.
