FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to antenna-feeder and microwave engineering and may be used in communication equipment, radiometry and devices of microwave heating. Technical result is achieved by the fact that horn antenna comprises horn with grooves threaded on its internal surface in the form of single- or multi-turn spirals. Spirals are arranged with permanent pitch, equal to half of average wave length, depth of grooves is permanent and is equal to quarter of wave average length, and width of grooves in the beginning of spiral is equal to its depth, and further it linearly reduces as horn opening increases. Antenna horn may have conical or pyramidal shape.
EFFECT: leveling of directivity pattern in wide range of frequencies, with various polarisation of field.
