FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to microwave technology, in particular, to two-polarization emitters, which are used in the on-board X-band dualpolarized scanning phased array antennas (FAS), as well as to the antennas of higher frequency ranges. Invention can be applied to a variety of radio-technical on-board and space systems with wide-angle electric scanning and with independent mutually orthogonal linear polarizations of the emitted (received) fields. Technical result is a significant reduction in the coupling coefficient between two mutually orthogonal channels up to the values within the range of -35…-65 dB (35…65 dB) and more, at the significant decrease in the transverse dimensions of the dualpolarized waveguide radiator up to about (0.59…0.62)λ0, where λ0 is the wavelength in free space, corresponding to the average frequency of the operating range.
EFFECT: significant increase in the insolation between two mutually orthogonal channels.
