FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: frequency standard is meant for use in onboard equipment. The device contains two automatic tuning rings. The ring for automatic tuning radiation frequency of the laser module contains a photodetector, connected to a control current driver, made in form of series-connected input electronic switch, synchronous detection and integration unit and an output adder. The synchronous detection and integration unit and the output adder also receive reference and control signals through a reference detection signal conditioner and a pulse shaper, respectively, connected by their outputs to a frequency divider. The ring for automatic tuning the quartz crystal oscillator contains a pulsed radio-frequency excitation signal conditioner and a control voltage driver, connected to a quantum discriminator, as well as a unit for generating reference and control signals, connected to the output of the tuned quartz crystal oscillator. Both automatic frequency tuning rings of the quartz crystal oscillator and the laser module operate in pulsed mode through a signal from the photodetector of the quantum discriminator. Thus, requirements for the Q-factor of the microwave resonator are reduced, as well as the dimensions and mass of the device and energy consumption level.
EFFECT: stability characteristics do not change.
