FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, and specifically to means of generating frequency-stable radio signals. Frequency standard comprises self-tuning tuned quartz oscillator, frequency synthesizer, error signal generation unit and control effect generator, output of which is connected to control input of tuned quartz generator. Error signal generation unit comprises an optoelectronic delay line consisting of series-connected electrooptical converter, a light-conducting channel and an optoelectronic converter, as well as two analogue-to-digital converters (ADC) and a digital processing processor.

EFFECT: technical result consists in creation of simpler frequency standard, characterized by reduced factor of internal instability.
