FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric vacuum cleaner, comprising running wheels mounted with an ability to rotate on both lateral sides of the casing of the main body. The running wheels 51 are mounted rotatably in the positions on both lateral sides of the casing 25 of the main body below the center of gravity of the main body 13. The rear wheel 52, which can be extended to and move away from the side of the floor surface F, is mounted behind the rotating shafts 57 of running wheels 51 of the casing 25 of the main body. To the rear wheel 52 the force is applied acting in the direction of extension to the floor surface F in such a way as to provide its contact with the floor surface F in the extended state. The rear wheel 52 comes into contact with the floor surface F with the proper contact pressure, so without decrease of the ability to turn the main body 13 of the vacuum cleaner the quality of movement in a straight line can be improved compared to the case when the main body of the vacuum cleaner moves only with running wheels 51.
EFFECT: improved ability to move in a straight line without decrease of the ability to turn the main body, improvement of maneuver capability of the vacuum cleaner.
