FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Functional parametres characterising optic nerve condition are estimated: visual acuity, critical flicker fusion frequency (CFFF), visual field determined by CFFF data, deficiency of optic nerve capacity. Conclusion about gravity of alcohol-induced optic nerve injuries is made on the basis of obtained results.
EFFECT: method allows to objectivate estimation of gravity of alcohol-induced optic nerve injury, make conclusion about degree of gravity at pre-clinic stage, detect quantitative changes of parametres during treatment and predict process outcome.
