FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining stimulating eye with chromatic flashes of red, green and blue color flickering in series in every central and peripheral points of vision field under study in investigating critical frequency of light flashes. Local values of critical frequency of light flashes are determined and marked on multifocal map. The received data are compared to normal age-specific mean values as normal topography of critical frequency of light flashes. The values dropping by more than 5 Hz in one or more points, topic defect is to be diagnosed in the vision field. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis. 9 dwg
