METHOD OF DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF HYPERTHROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHIA AND HYPERTENSION DISEASE WITH LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B8/06

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to cardiology. Echocardiography is carried out in state of rest and then immediately after physical loading on vertical bicycle ergometre, placing patient into horizontal position. Dynamics of indices of systolic and diastolic functions of left ventricle, criteria of loading test cessation and recovery period duration are analysed. If E peak of transmitral flow growth is not more than 10%, A peak - not more than 10%, index E/A decreases on 3-4%, E-wave slowing-down time (DT) decreases or grows on 5-7%, fraction of left ventricle output increases on not more than 10%, contraction ability of interventricular septum decreases or increases but not more than 20%, reduction of end-diastolic and stroke volumes or absence of their measurement, if intraventricular pressure gradient increases to 30 mm of mercury column and more in case of obstructive form of HCMP, if duration of recovery period after loading lest exceeds 12 minutes, in case bicycle ergometry is stopped because there is no growth or systolic arterial pressure drops on 20 mm of mercury col. and more, stenocardia attack, achievement of submaximal level of heart beats, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is diagnosed. If E peak of transmitral flow growth is not more than 40%, A peak - from 20 to 30%, E/A index grows on 10% and more, time of E-wave (DT) slowing-down reduces on more than 30%, fraction of left ventricle output grows on more than 15%, contraction ability of interventricular septum grows on 30% and more, end-distal left ventricle volume grows on 10%, and stroke volume - more than 25%, recovery period duration does not exceed 7 min, in case loading test is stopped because maximal permissible level of arterial pressure is achieved, hypertension disease with left ventricle hypertrophy is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for differential diagnostics of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and hypertension disease with left ventricle hypertrophy.
