FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to addictology and can be applied for treating people from alcohol dependence. Method by invention includes stage of parenteral introducing of composition of prolonged action, which contains naltrexone, value of AUC for naltrexone in serum being, at least, twice larger, than corresponding value, achieved by introduction of 50 mg/day perorally.
EFFECT: application of invention allows to increase treatment tolerance due to removal of days peaks of naltrexone and reduction of formation of its metabolites in case of parenteral introduction of prolonged action composition.
