FIELD: treatment plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns highly efficient aggregates of direct flow vapour-fluid contact treatment for application in fractionators and other devices of vapour-fluid contact treatment. Device features contact treatment modules positioned not on trays but on horizontal steps. Modules form direct flow contact volume (56). One version of module (20) configuration involves fluid distributor (22), mist separator (24), collector tray (26) and channel (28). Modules of one step are turned so as they are not parallel to modules of next step up or down, or both. Method of vapour-fluid contact treatment involves vapour flow passed up to contact volume (56), fluid feed to contact volume (56), fluid capture by vapour and transition in vapour flow direction to mist separator (24) for separation of fluid from vapour.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of aggregate in comparison to existing aggregates.
