FIELD: aircraft construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns land maintenance of aircrafts, particularly aircraft transportation. Method of automatic increase in adhesive weight of aircraft towing car involves utilisation of tractor connected to hydraulic power cylinder and hydraulic control cylinder communicated directly to front strut of aircraft so as to add load to driving wheels of towing car proportionally to rolling drag of aircraft by weight applied to front strut of the aircraft. Hydraulic control cylinder is equipped with protective power housing in the form of steel cylinder shifting in slits and protecting hydraulic control cylinder shaft from bending moments arising during operation of hydraulic power cylinder. Hydraulic power and control cylinders are attached to tractor frame by joint with Hooke's coupling.
EFFECT: enhanced draught and traction properties of towing car due to draught power transformation into completing effort by aircraft weight applied to front strut.
