FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises feeding label tape from winding-out drum or roller onto vacuum drum surface and applying glue on its surface. Dividing label tape into separate labels is performed in two stages. First stage comprises heating the tape along the preset line of division to tape material melt point. The second stage comprises pressing label to vacuum drum surface. Proposed method includes also feeding vessels to position of label application thereon and moving vessels with labels glued thereon from aforesaid position. Pressing the tape to vacuum drum surface is performed before starting its heating and at force that provides for required tension of tape. Note that after label separation, the tape is still pressed to vacuum drum.
EFFECT: higher quality, absence of surface defects.
