FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment designed to thermally process high wear resistance balls used, for example in return valves of oil production well-deep pumps, etc. To perform symmetric heating of ball-like products without oxidation and decarburisation, inductor comprises induction wire coiled around rectangular "П"-section flute bent into spiral with vertical axis of symmetry. Note here that guide chute is bent into shaped spiral with variable curvature of coils inscribed into surfaces of truncated cones or one-plane hyperboloid, or in barrel-like, or other 2nd-order surfaces. When balls roll down along aforesaid flutes, they revolve about, at a time, three axes in cartesian coordinates X, Y, Z with stereometric summation into turning rotational axis in spatially variable direction.
EFFECT: uniform density of magnetic flux and symmetric heating.
