FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rotor-type internal combustion engine comprises housing with inner cylindrical surface. Egg-shaped rotor touches aforesaid inner cylindrical surface. Remaining surface of the rotor surface stays in contact with the edges of flaps arranged to move in aforesaid housing, their number making at least two. Operating chambers are arranged between aforesaid flaps arranged radially and regularly along the housing edges to form chambers there between. Intake and exhaust channels are made in rotor body and have openings on the rotor opposite sides, in its sharpened egg-shaped asymmetric part.
EFFECT: increased expansion of combustion products.
