SUBSTANCE: method for electronic disconnection of an automatic circuit breaker, based on assessment of thermal and electromagnetic values of electric current and generation of a disconnecting signal by an external system, when the specified values exceed the specified value, which is sent to one of the inlets of the electronic remote control unit, in which the disconnecting signal via a logical element OR is sent to the control input of a symistor, unlocking of which provides for additional flow of current through the automatic circuit breaker, and this current is sufficient for its electromagnetic disconnection. An electronic automatic circuit breaker (17) comprises an automatic circuit breaker (14), a remote control unit (15), comprising a symistor (16), the control inlet of which is connected to the outlet of the OR element (18), inlets of which are inlets of the remote control unit, the inlet and outlet of the symistor are accordingly the first and second outlets of the remote control unit (15). Besides, the first outlet of the remote control unit (15) is connected with an outlet contact (13) of the automatic circuit breaker (14), the inlet contact (12) of which is connected with the first wire of the power transmission line, and the second outlet of the remote control unit (15) is connected with the second wire of the power transmission line.
