FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to systems for broadcasting of audio and video programs to mobile device of wireless local access network (WLAN). Method is suggested for conversion from MPEG-2 transport stream into real-time protocol stack based on internetwork protocol (IP)/user datagram protocol (UDP)/IP for service broadcasting to WLAN. All functions of conversion may be arranged in receiver transcoder. To reduce required computer capacity and consumption of supply energy in mobile devices, certain functions of data processing are realised in communication systems, such as function of demultiplexing, which usually prepares MPEG-2 for repeated transfer at local level. When transcoder arranged with the possibility of transport flow MPEG-2 demultiplexing receives program, it demultiplexes flow on the basis of packet identifiers (PID), assigned to each transport packet. Function of demultiplexing extracts certain components from transport flow: packaged elementary stream (PES)/ elementary stream (ES) of video and audio data associated with programs, and program-specific information (PSI) (program association table (PAT) and program map tables (PMT)).

EFFECT: provision of method for conversion from TS MPEG-2 into stack RTP/UDP/IP based on IP for service of broadcasting to WLAN, which makes it possible to perform all conversion functions in receiver.
