METHOD OF DYNAMIC ELECTRIC NEUROSTIMULATION FOR LOCOMOTOR SYSTEM INJURIES Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61N1/18

Abstract RU 2371211 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly traumatology, and is intended for emergency care, therapy and rehabilitation in locomotor system injury cases. Treatment method allows for painless, most efficient and fast therapy using body self-adjustment mechanisms and activating immune system. Definite spots on wrists and feet correlated to the injury by Su Jok, and direct projection of the injury are exposed to low-frequency currents, beginning by impulse frequency of 77 Hz or under applied simultaneously to area corresponding to immune system - thumb and index finger junction area at palm back - and to direct injury projection area for 2-3 days each 2-3. Further the current of 10 Hz or lower frequency is applied to correlated areas by Su Jok system. Power level of impulse effect is selected individually by acceptable or by threshold sensitivity, session duration is defined by skin impedance change. Additionally the same action is applied to the mirror body area corresponding to injury. For pelvic and leg bone injury, lumbosacral area is additionally exposed.

EFFECT: invention can be used for damaged bones and soft tissues of arms, additionally cervical collar area is exposed, and Bonavtilin cream is applied before and after procedures.
