SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of working surface of moving blank before deforming it by means of rotating brushes whose axes are inclined by angle α relative to motion direction of blank; keeping relation of rotation speed Vbr of each brush in zone of its contact with blank to motion speed Vbl of blank in range 4 - 10; setting angle α equal to arcsine(Vbr / Vbl); determining distance S between rotation axis of each brush and axis of blank at working according to expression S = Rbr + (0.5 - 0.6)Rbl, where Rbr and Rbl are respectively radiuses of brush and blank. Invention provides stable lubrication of blank in deformation zone.
EFFECT: lowered drawing effort, reduced power consumption at making wire.
