FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production techniques of sheet from grain-oriented electric steel. For improvement of steel magnetic properties, reducing losses in core method includes focusing of laser beam into elliptic spot on sheet, moved at a specified rate, scanning with irradiation of sheet by focused elliptic spot in the direction of sheet width, herewith it is created angle of slope 0s between direction of scanning of specified elliptic spot and direction of long axis of elliptic spot. Angle θs is regulated according to specified rate V1 of processing line of sheet of grain-oriented electric steel and at rate Vc of scanning of elliptic spot of laser beam by sheet on the basis of equation θs=tg-1 (V1/Vc) so, that irradiated by laser width of sheet is reduced. Regulation of angle 0s is implemented by means of optical system of laser irradiation, consisting of cylindrical refracting telescope, scanning mirrors and fθ-lens, located in specified order, system of angle change of cylindrical refracting telescope relative to scanning direction of scanning mirror, and systems of distance change between lens.
EFFECT: improvement of steel magnetic properties.
