FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a laser treatment unit for grinding the magnetic domains of a textured electrical steel sheet by adjusting a laser beam focused on a textured electrical steel sheet and scanned in the scanning direction (versions).
EFFECT: apparatus is configured to focus a linearly polarized laser beam on a textured electrical steel sheet at an angle between the direction of linear polarization of light and the direction of scanning equal to or greater than 0° and less than 45°.
