FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine area, namely cardiology. Arterial pressure is monitored daily. Average indices of systolic and diastolic arterial pressure are determined to calculate thereby a daily index (DI) as the least value that has been obtained. In case the DI is less than 10%, polysomnographic examination is performed, while the DI 10% and more provides no indications therefor.
EFFECT: invention allows improving accuracy of determining indications for polysomnographic examination in the patients with arterial hypertension that is ensured by use of daily indices.
