FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to methods of processing of fillings of positive lamellas of iron-cadmic accumulators. Method includes leaching of cadmium and its following extraction from solution. Additionally leaching is implemented by solution of ethylene-diamine-tetraacetate sodium at pH of solution 9.0-9.5. Before extraction of cadmium from solution it is removed ethylene-diamine-tetraacetate in molecular form by sedimentation by sulfuric acid at pH of solution 1.0-1.6 and it is directed to preparation of solution for leaching.
EFFECT: increasing of extraction ratio of cadmium and safety of manufacturing.
