FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining particularly to using powered supports for stopes while excavating coal from thin and medium thick steep seams of coal. A powered support includes a basic frame and line sections. The basic frame is divided into basic sections each of which is composed of a front side and a goaf side with hydraulic props of the thrust and tails connecting the ront side and the goaf side on the soil of the seam. Each line section consists of a hydraulic prop with a beam and a base plate that are secured on the roller bearings installed with a capacity to move inside the tails of the basic section. The line sections contain a capsule with stiffening ribs bearing the weight of the hydraulic prop with the beam and the base plate and the roller bearings are attached to the capsule. The capsule is made as a hardware module with a strengthened bottom manufactured as a shoe.

EFFECT: improved conditions for people to work as well as for the automated control system for the devices of physical break of coal.
