SUBSTANCE: powered support for steep medium beds consists of single-type linear sections, every of which comprises a roof bar, a hydraulic prop of a thrust, a shoe, a hardware compartment capsule, a goaf and a bottomhole barriers, and also a mechanism of displacement and correction. The displacement mechanism comprises a displacement jack, on the stem of which there is a geared rack installed, which is engaged with a master gear by means of a clamping jack. The master gear is arranged with the possibility to transfer torque via a shaft to two master gears, which are engaged with geared wheels arranged with the possibility of slippage, whenever the support centre of gravity changes, and the possibility to transfer a section to a bottomhole.

EFFECT: increased serviceability of a support, improved stability and method of displacement.
