FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: inventions refer to method and device for controlling the gap between edges of rotor blades and stator shell of high pressure turbines by means of air flow with controlled flow rate. Air flow is controlled with the control valve the position of which is determined with the first control signal (SC10) calculated on the basis of the first specified value (VC10) corresponding to pre-determined gap value between rotor and shell of turbine. In addition, system includes calculation means of at least one second control signal (SC20; SC30) based on the second specified value (VC20; VC30) which is different from the first specified value (VC10) corresponding to turbine gap value, and the means intended for choosing this second control signal for controlling the control valve depending on values of one or several engine parametres.
EFFECT: this method and this system allow controlling air flow supplied to the shell in compliance with several logical schemes, which will result in engine efficiency increase.
