FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: in order to obtain the specified radial clearance value, first, values of radial clearances are defined; speed of a turbine rotor is measured during the turbine operation; for each operating mode of the turbine, the current value of centrifugal drawing of turbine blades and the current value of a radial clearance in stationary modes are defined as per speed of the turbine rotor and the pre-defined values; the obtained current values are added; the obtained total value of the signal is added to a signal of the value of installed clearances in a certain mode, thus obtaining a value of the specified radial clearance, which is compared to the measured actual value of the radial clearance and as per the mismatching value of these signals, air flow supplied to the turbine rotor and stator is adjusted, or its supply is cut off.

EFFECT: improving adjustment accuracy of radial clearance in a GTE turbine owing to considering the influence on its value of dynamic, installation and thermal factors.
