FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: pump device consists of inlet connection and housing 2. Inside housing 2 there installed coaxially on bearings is pump shaft and impeller 6 of centrifugal pump. Impeller 6 is connected to housing 2 and inlet connection by means of a pair of protection rings 7. Each protection ring 7 is made in the form of a rubber seal with unloading loop 9 reinforced therein. Internal surface of ring 7 is equipped with protrusions 10 of labyrinth sealing. Protrusions 10 are connected to grooves 11 on bands 13 of impeller 6.

EFFECT: increasing pump efficiency and decreasing leakage of the pumped liquid.
