SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for evaluating level of anthropogenic effect on the environment, as well as detecting synergetic biological effects of pollutants on the environment. The method involves extraction of animal bioindicators - Elasmucha grisea from the analysed medium, with subsequent analysis of morphological characters on frequency of asymmetrical manifestation of features from the right and left side of animal bioindicators. The frequency of asymmetrical manifestation of the features is calculated using the formula: NAF=(NAF/N)*100%, where NAF is number of asymmetrical features, N is the total number of analysed features, where if the value of frequency of asymmetrical manifestation of features is less than 0.20, the level of the stress effect is permissible, if it lies in the interval from 0.21 to 0.30 - the said level is low, if in the interval from 0.31 to 0.40 - the said level is medium, in the interval from 0.41 to 0.50 - the said level is high, over 0.51 - the said level is very high.
EFFECT: invention allows for assessing pollution of the environment in almost all natural zones, as well as in residential places; invention is more versatile.
