FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for determining parametres of radio engineering systems, unified by the term "random antennae") (RA). Method of evaluating efficiency of a random antenna involves effect of electromagnetic radiation of an auxiliary transmitter at frequency fa, on a random antenna which is emitting a signal with frequency fc; determination of frequencies of intermodulation components of radiation of the random antenna fi=|mfc±nfa\, where m=1; 2; 3…; n=1; 2; 3… . A (N+1)-channel reception circuit at frequencies fc and fi is used; i [1; N] with a terminal device, connected to the (N+1)-channel reception circuit, which determines error probability of single reception P1er at frequency fc and error probability in an N-fold diversity reception circuit at N frequencies fi and calculates value of efficiency evaluation criterion of the random antenna Se=(1-PNer)/(1-P1er).

EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of evaluating complex parameters of random antennae, related to all N leakage channels potentially possible in the antenna, through evaluation of noise immunity of receiving leakage signals of the leakage channel on all N channels at the same time using a system of N-channel diversity reception, increased efficiency of determining parameters of random antennae due to possibility of automation of the process.
