SUBSTANCE: method involves recoding of data of defective area available on optical disc with high-density recording, for example of read-only Blu-ray disc (BD-WO), to reserve area, generation of information on defect lists for providing access to alternate data recorded in reserve area, and recording in temporary defect management area (TDMA). Recording and management of navigation information about the place for performing the recording in the next available reserve area is performed in the form of temporary defect list (TDFL) or in the form of information on temporary defect description structure (TDDS).
EFFECT: more effective recording and management of information on defect lists or information on temporary defect lists with the purpose of managing defective area at minimum record size.
