FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to animal breeding, namely to methods of feeding shoats. Essence of invention lies in the following: method of feeding shoats includes introduction of biologically active additive into formula forage. As active biological additive used is mixture of zinc oxide and protein additive of vegetable origin close in nutritional value to fish flour, with ratio respectively 1:4. It is introduced into shoat feed at age from 28 day to 42 day in amount 1.5-2.0% of total formula forage weight.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase live weight gain of shoats with simultaneous reduction of forage consumption, increase forage digestibility and preservation of total number of pigs due to elimination of disturbances of intestinal tract functions, to eliminate stress.
