SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting sphere, notably, to the dry powder fire extinguishing means used to extinguish fires of solid and liquid combustible materials, facilities and premises of various purposes. The proposed invention can be applied to any dry powder fire extinguishing means, for example portable fire extinguisher, modules, etc. The specified technical result is achieved by the method of powder fire extinguishing means charging, including the operation of layer-extinguishing powder filling and compaction of each layer and the subsequent sealing of the container, characterised that the layer filling of fire extinguishing powder produced by powders of different bulk density, alternating a layer of lower density powder with layer higher bulk density powder, and begin filling with higher bulk density powder.

EFFECT: application of dry powder fire extinguishing means (eg, modules), charged by the proposed method allows to raise efficiency of fire-fighting in various premises, especially of larger area and height, by increasing the distance of fire extinguishing powder, maintaining its high extinguishing ability.
