FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of producing a multifunctional fire extinguishing powder of ABCE class and a multifunctional fire extinguishing powder of ABCE class. Result is achieved by the disclosed method of producing a multifunctional fire-extinguishing powder of ABCE class, which involves grinding components with wastes from metal working industries, namely a spent moulding mixture, which is added at the following stages of making the powder composition, namely, at the stage of grinding the main components of ammophos and ammonium sulphate in ball mills, at the stage of grinding the target additives in ball mills, at the stage of mixing the mixtures obtained at the first two stages with each other, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: ammonium sulphate 20-25; high grade ammophos 10-15; talc “ТМН 4-14”; microsilica 3-8; water-repellent liquid 0.2-0.5; spent moulding mixture – the rest. Result is achieved by the declared ABCE class multifunctional fire extinguishing powder, which includes ammonium sulphate, high grade ammophos, talc “ТМН”, microsilica, water-repellent liquid, wherein additionally contains a spent moulding mixture, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: ammonium sulphate 20-25; high grade ammophos 10-15; talc “ТМН 4-14”; microsilica 3-8; water-repellent liquid 0.2-0.5; spent moulding mixture – the rest.

EFFECT: increasing bulk density of the fire-extinguishing composition while maintaining uniformity of properties of the powder mixture, maintaining efficiency of extinguishing electrical equipment under load.
