FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed filter comprises housing of non-magnetic material with through central opening and six channels distributed regularly along the channel diametre, hollow jointing bolt fitted into housing and cover openings and furnished with inner thread on one end and outer thread on the other one. Thread is made along the housing outer diametre. Cover is furnished with cylindrical part, its inner surface having a thread for jointing with the housing. Coaxial channels in housing and cover are arranged to form between them parallel magnetic systems, each made up of separator, a slotted bush, and four permanent C-shaped magnets. Magnets are fitted in slots in pairs, their like poles facing each other. Every pair is turned through 90° relative to each other. Note here that inner surfaces of C-shaped magnets form the channels for engine oil to pass through and to be processed therein. End faces of separator-bush are arranged at the level of housing end face. Filter is attached to end face of standard oil filter of the engine.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of oil cleaning, simplified filter assembly/disassembly.
