FIELD: physics; optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cloaking mobile objects from space-based optoelectronic observation systems. Several permissible routes are formed based on the known road network of the field area and orbit parametres of the spacecraft, taking into account time constraints on movement. Based on flight time intervals and orbit parametres of the spacecraft, spatial position of the mobile object, several mutual spatial positions are formed for all check points of each route from several routes - relative azimuth and angle of view of the object. To determine possibilities of using cloaking properties of the area in the optical range for each flight interval of the spacecraft, several quantitative evaluations are made of the specific (emission-reflection) characteristics of the underlying surface and characteristics of optically invisibile zones, formed by objects of the area - natural masks. The route with the maximum possibilities for using cloaking properties of the area is determined.
EFFECT: reduced probability of detecting an object on frame shots of an optoelectronic system of an observation spacecraft.
