FIELD: radar deception of ground objects against space and air systems of radar reconnaissance.

SUBSTANCE: the enhanced authenticity of simulation of a ground object is provided due to evaluation of the resolution of the radar image of the earth surface, calculation of the value of projections of the simulated object overall dimensions, determination of the overall quantity of articial deflectors, calculation of the effective dispersion areal of a separate artificial deflector by relation of the effective dispersion area of the simulated object to the total quantity of artificial deflectors with the deduction of the effective dispersion area of the earth surface section that is unshaded by the artificial deflector, arrangement of the artificial deflectors on the earth surface section with orientation of the maximum of the backward dispersion pattern to the direction of radar surveillance along the longitudinal axis of the simulated object.

EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of simulation of the ground object.
