FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to camouflage of ground mobile objects (GMO) from space systems of radar surveillance. Method for hiding GMO from radar surveillance from space includes receiving radio signals from a space radar (SR) in N≥2 time instants tn, where n=1…N, determination of coordinates of SR for each moment of time tn, measurement of pulse duration τp, measurement of repetition periods of pulses Tp(tn), construction of family of working and nonworking zones relative to each position of SR. In case GMO is in one of SR working zones at all time tn, measures of its concealment from radar surveillance from space are applied, specifically, on the probing signal propagation path, a scattering and absorbing medium in the form of an aerosol cloud is formed by breaking the pyrotechnic shell.

EFFECT: shorter time for overcoming the GMO of the selected route under conditions of protection from radar surveillance from space due to timely detection of the fact that GMO is located in one of the SR working zones and taking concealment action from radar surveillance from space.
