FIELD: military affairs.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to the field of military affairs and concerns a method for reducing the visibility of a mobile object for space hyperspectral reconnaissance systems. The method consists in placing the mobile object in the place where the tasks are performed, taking into account the masking properties of the terrain and, based on the parameters of the possible trajectories of the spacecraft flights and the possible characteristics of the spatial location of the mobile object, calculate the variant of the orientation of the moving object on the terrain with respect to the possible trajectories of the flights of spacecraft, ensuring the minimum projection area of a moving object in a digital hyperspectral image.
EFFECT: reducing the likelihood of detecting a moving object by the space hyperspectral reconnaissance system.
