FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to functional diagnostics. Method lies in determining indices of cardiac rhythm variability: mode and amplitude of distribution mode, variation range, maximal and minimal cardiointerval, stress index, expectation value and average quadratic deviation of dynamic series of cardiointervals, variation coefficient, frequency of cardiac contractions and hemodynamics indices: systolic and diastolic pressure. By formulas numerical values of coefficients Fx and Fy are determined, by which position of point in system of coordinates X and Y is found. By position of point with respect to nearest "centroid" type of vegetative tone is established. As "centroids" average values of variation cardiointervalometry are taken: normotonia, sympaticotonia and parasympaticotonia.
EFFECT: method allows to increase rate and accuracy of evaluation of direction of vegetative tone type change in dynamics, starting with first minute of cardiointervalometry data registration.
