FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used a secondary treatment of raw material with the objective of obtaining feed materials and pharmaceutical preparations. The method involves collection of a biomass of cyanobacteria with their concentration in water of not less than 40 mg/l of dry substance from 4 to 6 o'clock morning, addition of a preservative in the collected biomass in form of a mixture of aminoacetic acid and a whey protein concentrate in a given ratio not later than 4 hours after collection.
EFFECT: invention allows for obtaining starting material with high content of protein, chlorophyll and β-carotene, preservation of components for 6 months and improves sanitary and biological state of the water body.
