FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method is intended for creating torque in, mainly, vehicles. Proposed method consists in the following. There is a cylindrical dielectric fitted, via cylindrical electrode and insulator, on the shaft that posses magnetic properties. Aforesaid dielectric is subjected to permanent magnetic and pulsating electric field effects, aforesaid fields have their lines of fluxes crossing in the zone of interaction to direct induced e.m.f. along tangential line to every cross section of dielectric to produce torque. Short-circuited DC-charged solenoid with superconducting winding make magnetic field source, while two electrodes embracing coaxially dielectric and fed from pulse voltage generator make pulsed electric field source.
EFFECT: increased current inducing magnetic field and higher torque.
