FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for producing synthesis gas from hydrocarbon gases by thereof partial oxidation for the intended use as an intermediate product in oil and gas and chemical production. The method for controlling the production of synthesis gas by partial oxidation of hydrocarbon gases with oxygen in a combustion chamber of a reactor equipped with hydrocarbon gas and oxygen injection units is claimed. A gas analyzer is installed in the hydrocarbon gas injection unit which uses associated oil gases. Hydrocarbon gas and oxygen injection units are equipped with flow meters - mass flow rate contollers which are controlled by automatic control system that automatically calculates the corrected values of the mass flow rates of hydrocarbon gas and oxygen based on discrete information results, containing actual concentration of methane in associated oil gas from the gas analyzer, which are supplied in the form of control voltages to inputs of each of flow meters-controllers of hydrocarbon gas and oxygen.

EFFECT: stabilisation of synthesis gas composition, improvement of feasibility indicators of plants using conversion of synthesis gas for production of end market products.
