FIELD: medicine; physics.
SUBSTANCE: with the use of 10 light-emitting diodes the examinee is shown sequences of didymous light impulses at the duration of 200 ms, parted by the interimpulsive interval, repeating at a constant interval of 1 sec. At the first stage of measurements the first light-emitting diode is supplied with the sequence of didymous light impulses with the interimpulsive interval of 1 ms. On each subsequent light-emitting diode the sequence of didymous light impulses is submited at the interimpulsive interval enlarged in comparison to an interimpulsive interval of the previous light-emitting diode by 5 ms. The examinee defines a light-emitting diode with the greatest number for which he can subjectively feel the merge of two light impulses into one and presses the button corresponding to it. At the second stage of measurements on the first light-emitting diode the sequence of didymous light impulses at the interimpulsive interval similar to the interimpulsive interval of the light-emitting diode is supplied, defined on the first stage by the examinee as a light-emitting diode for which he can subjectively feel the merge of two light impulses into one. On each subsequent light-emitting diode the sequence of didymous light impulses is suplied at the interimpulsive interval enlarged in comparison to interimpulsive interval of the previous light-emitting diode by 0.5 ms. The examinee defines the light-emitting diode with the greatest number for which he can subjectively feel the merge of two light impulses into one and presses the button corresponding to it. At the third stage of measurements the first light-emitting diode is supplied with the sequence of didymous light impulses with the interimpulsive interval similar to the interimpulsive interval of a light-emitting diode, defined on the second stage by the examinee as a light-emitting diode for which he can subjectively feel the merge of two light impulses into one. Each subsequent light-emitting diode is supplied with the sequence of didymous light impulses with the interimpulsive interval enlarged in comparison with an interimpulsive interval of the previous light-emitting diode by 0.1 ms. The examinee defines the light-emitting diode with the greatest number for which he can subjectively feel the merge of two light impulses into one, and pushes the button corresponding to it, registering the value of duration of the interimpulsive interval, taken for the estimation of exaltation time of the human visual analyser.
EFFECT: reduction of measurement time and the posibility of use at carrying out of mass inspections.
